Fixer Upper Fan Tour: Waco, TX

I've been a huge fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines for some time now, and I'm creating this post to help you see all the places that have been a part of Fixer Upper. First of all, the best time of the week to visit is Monday-Thursday to avoid the large crowds. We ended up going on a Friday and it was busier than expected.

We were going to start out in Waco, Texas with breakfast at Magnolia Table (2132 S Valley Mills Dr, Waco, TX 76706) but they do not take reservations, so the line to get in was crazy! I've heard great things about this place so if you don't mind the wait, I highly recommend.

After that, we made our way to Magnolia Market at the Silos (601 Webster Ave, Waco, TX 76706). Also on the grounds of the Silos is the Silos Baking Co., a charming bakery owned by Chip and Joanna.

Next up was Harp Design Co. and Showroom (808 N. 15th St, Waco, TX 76707) which is featured in just about every episode of Fixer Upper. Clint Harp's craftsmanship is out of this world! Right next door is the home that Chip and Joanna fixed up for the couple.

From there, we made our way to where it all started, the original Magnolia Store (3801 Bosque Blvd, Waco 76710). At this location, they now offer last chance items and slightly damaged products at a discount.

After that, we stopped at the very first home that aired on Fixer Upper. The Gorman Story- Season 1, Episode 1: Looking Old But Feeling New- This home is on the corner of Castle Avenue and Chateau Avenue in Waco.

After we got the full experience of Waco, we made our way to Crawford, Texas. On the way, we did find their beautiful farmhouse (I promise I'm not a stalker, just a huge fan)! From there, we took the backroads to Mc Gregor, Texas and saw the beautiful country side.

In Mc Gregor is the Magnolia House (323 S. Madison Ave, Mc Gregor, TX 76657), this home was featured on Season 3, Episode 4: A Home Away From Home for the Holidays. At the Magnolia House, I ran into a gardener who has actually met the couple. He was very friendly and told us a great story about the couple. He also said the couple is just as genuine and real as they seem on the show.

Also in Mc Gregor is the Cedar Chest Antique Mall (31707 W. Highway 84, Mc Gregor, TX 76657), featured in many Fixer Upper episodes. There is also a Cedar Chest Too just down the road!

This "mini tour" was such a great experience and I hope that many of you enjoy it as well!
